Today’s free game is Portal: The Flash Version. This is a 2D side view version of the original Portal game by Valve. The levels are done in the style of the original and use many of the same puzzle solving mechanics. Highly recommend for fans of Portal.

I just downloaded the DC version of the awesome comiXology app for the iPad. There are some great free comics included just like with the original comiXology app and the Marvel version. This is really worth checking out. Here is a shot of the main screen of the app and Batman-Black & White(one of the free comics included)

I went to the local college movie theater over the weekend to see Toy Story 3. This small theater sells posters to their previous movies. They keep a bunch in the little area where you buy tickets and food. There were also all of the Academy Award nominee posters for best picture in the stairway down to the theater. I asked the lady selling the tickets if the Academy Award posters were on sale too. I ended up getting this poster for only $5:

Today’s free game is Continuity. This is a very clever puzzle/platform game. In this game the object is to get a key and exit the level through a door. However screens of the level need to be moved around to make this possible,  sometimes you’ll have to get to one screen,  and then move another to get the key or get to the door. Give it a try.

I saw The A-Team movie Friday night and it was pretty awesome. The action was well done and exciting to watch. The characters were fairly well done and well acted and had great chemistry between each other. The story was also a pretty good retelling of their origin story. This has been the most fun I’ve had at the movies in a while. Highly recommend for a summer action movie.

If you go see this stay until the end of the credits. You’ll e treated to a small extra scene. I was the only one left in the theater I saw it in to enjoy this part.

Today’s free game is Elements. This is a game very similar to Magic The Gathering. If you’re a fan of that game this one will be right up your alley. give it a try.

I just got a new Plantronics USB headset today. I’ve only messed around with it a little but overall the audio quality is very nice. No more recording stuff with my Rock Band microphone.

Here are my favorite mugs/cups for drinking tea or hot chocolate, I’m not much of a coffee drinker. The Mario Bros cup is mostly for drinking water.

Today’s free game is Miami Shark. In this game you control a shark that is trying to attack boats on the surface and also a helicopter that flies above. You can jump out of the water from near the surface or you can dive and swim up to be able to reach higher targets like the helicopter. Give it a try.

Check out this article, it explains how AT&T will be dropping their unlimited data plans for the iPhone and iPad. I wonder if AT&T went to Apple and offered this unlimited plan in order to get their exclusive contract for the iPhone extended and when that happened they decided to drop the plan in order to keep the iPhone exclusive to their service.
